Adobe Connect - Changes On The Horizon

October 14, 2011 - Adobe has recently developed a control feature that will now identify clients who are using Named Host licenses outside of the parameters of the Adobe End User License Agreement (EULA).
We are providing advance notice of upcoming changes related to the technical enforcement for the Named Host licensing model. This new enforcement will no longer allow users to host a meeting unless they are licensed and listed in the Meeting Host Group of your Connect UI. In short, your users capabilities to host Adobe Connect Meetings may be revoked as a result of this new order if the correct number of licenses are not in place.
The potential disruption of service is easily avoided with an evaluation of your current license structure vs. your actual usage. We can provide additional licenses as needed and help to make sure your hosts are correctly identified in the Meeting Host Group.
This notification only applies to those who have purchased Named Host licenses (formerly known as Named Organizer).
If there is a question as to which licenses you have and whether or not your group is in compliance, please contact us today at (512) 681-7272 ext. 301 Monday-Friday 8am-5pm PST to schedule a review of your current structure.
