One thing that a lot of people have been asking for in Adobe Connect is a way to give Participants the ability to use whiteboard markup tools without giving them complete Presenter rights for all Share Pods in the meeting room.

One of the coolest things about Adobe Connect is the ability to customize the meeting environment with your own colors and backgrounds, even including a company logo.

If you have used this option to make your meeting rooms comply with company branding policies you no doubt appreciate how easy it is to make your organization the focal point of the entire online meeting experience.

A few weeks ago there was a survey done by LifeHacker asking folks to vote for one of five web conferencing solutions. Webex, TinyChat, GoToMeeting, Dimdim, and Adobe ConnectNow. At first I was upset because they used ConnectNow instead of Adobe Connect. If you saw my last blog you know how I feel about that.

But then I got over my initial disgruntledness, took a deep breath and started looking at the numbers. Take a look for yourself...

I recently read a reviewer's comparison of GoToMeeting and Adobe Connect. As I read through the article I found myself wanting to shout "That's not true!"

Then I realized what had happened, and I wondered how many poor souls had condemned themselves to using GoToMeeting or Webex because of the same confusion. Let me explain...
